by the time people understand that their “new ideas” arent new, the people selling those ideas have grown up and are just as vulnerable.
I agree. Once I had the naive idea that the older you get and more experience you have, the more respect you get. That is not the case. People loose their respect, once you have grey hair. This is sad. Even high performers are not safe. IBM fired them as well. For profit.
