Recently, I read an article by Ben Northrop. About old programmers. Meaning over 40. Now I came across an article of this topic by Neil McAllister on InfoWorld.
Where do all the old programmers go?

Interestingly, he too uses the age limit of 40.
Our team got just recently a new programmer, who is past 50. He has pretty cool stories to tell and has accumulated very respectable amount of knowledge over course of years. I wish I will be able to do the same thing eventually.
Depends on the technology maybe. In web development, they look for the latest and greatest. And for cool, young guys. Anyway, I don’t care anymore. It’s now just a hobby for me. 🙂
